1) It won't let you drop the load - make-before-break operation
2) It won't let you switch to bypass too soon - keeps you from breaking the UPS!
3) Both of these safety features require Interlock Keys, Solenoid Key Release, and the Safety Slide Bar. Other vendors offer you some of these, but never all three.
